Insperity Adaptive Sports Complex Now Open In The Groves

HOUSTON (March 24, 2018) Humble ISD School District Foundation and the YMCA of Greater Houston celebrated the opening of the Insperity Adaptive Sports Complex in The Groves on March 24, 2018. The Complex provides children with disabilities and special needs a barrier-free environment to play and participate in team sports.

The Insperity Adaptive Sports Complex features two Miracle League multipurpose fields with cushioned synthetic turf, a barrier-free playground including ramps, special swings, sensory-related items, and a covered pavilion equipped with modified basketball hoops, activity space, as well as small rooms for quiet spaces often required when over-stimulation occurs with people with special needs.

The Insperity Adaptive Sports Complex is located between Humble ISD’s new Groves Elementary School and West Lake Middle School in The Groves on Madera Run Parkway. The Groves is thrilled to welcome the Insperity Adaptive Sports Complex to the neighborhood!
